What are the symptoms of a cataract?
You have blurred vision, double vision or ghost images. The sense of a “film” over your eyes and you may be able to see the cataract in your eye. A yellow milky spot in your eye which is an indication that you may need to consult with your doctor.
What causes cataracts?
Age is the primary cause of cataracts with occurences usually appearing after the age of 40.
Other causes of cataracts are, congenital, traumatic from cuts, punctures or hard blows and secondary effects of some medicines and diseases such as diabetes.
